Another nicely produced book but overall not an "adventure" I will ever pursue. Wished there would've been more items, creature stats etc.
Good Lord...what does it matter..get rid of your negativity and have a little human love....and originally the goal was 1k..it was surpassed quickly due to people who put their selfishness aside to help.
For those like me who don't have the Adobe products..I've basically used the Open Office document and made a "Label". Found the appropriate image (ie. Orc etc.) on Google, added to the label, and named it. Printing on heavy cardstock and I then laminate on a Business Card sized laminate sheet...
Good point Nebulous...and there are so many extra variables one can add to this "system"...like the card above, your suggestion of having a chart to roll on for the effect..I guess the main thing is it's an interesting concept to use and add some "homebrew" to spice it up.
Something else one can do to add some "life" to the game is to add a Critical Hit and Critical Fail card to the stack. Here's an example of something I'm going to run my player through soon.

Thanks Core for the input,,yes, I was thinking about using Word and/or Open Office to create something..I've a good inkjet and laser printer and a laminator...just not Adobe products..lol..And those MTG card sites would definitely work.
Interesting thread and concept...great looking cards too...does anyone know of any product besides Adobe that one can use to make cards like these?...I don't have any of the Adobe products and don't see spending their $ for just making cards. Thank you.
I've enjoyed quite a few of the articles...my only constructive criticism would be to make sure the articles are edited and corrected before posting...I know the Strands of Life had a couple of errors that were noted and should've been corrected before posting the final copy...my copper's worth...
