    The "Smell Test"

I love the Fourth Edition and I am far from excited or pleased by the Playtest stuff. The monster stat blocks are far less convenient than those of the Fourth. The spell descriptions are far less easy to use than those of the Fourth. The Fighter has no Exploits. The first of those three...

    Supporting Diablo-style Gameplay

Diablo is D&D set for Monty Haul. And I love it!

D&D 4E 4E combat and powers: How to keep the baby and not the bathwater?

I agree 100%. I have NEVER been restricted even from the first level in the Fourth Edition from tripping, bullrushing, disarming, grappling or threatening. Nor from doing imaginative stunts. Of course the difficulty class might be high and my appropriate ability might not be enough, but the...

Throwing down the Tyranny of the Spellcaster.

I must spread experience around before I give any more points to you. But well said in any case.

    D&D 5E The Biggest Issue in 5E

Those things sucked. Fat books which would not lie flat on a table. Cheap binding which broke after a few uses.

    Will you mix playstyles?

Wow! I want to play in that game!

    Will you mix playstyles?

I strongly disagree. Grognards and Fourthers already play together across the world. Nowadays I play with a gaming group of about a dozen people who all have very different preferences in roleplaying games and styles. Nonetheless we can easily enjoy the same table because we all love the most...

    Casters and Multiclassing

It takes a fair number of feats and levels to be able to do that. It is not as cheap as you make it sound. A straight Cleric will be much effective as a cleric and even just with his Sunburst because he will have other features, feats and stuff which compliment that Prayer.

D&D 5E How would you like 5e to handle combat roles.

4e just made the roles explicit so new players could understand their class and choose the class which suited what they wanted to accomplish. It also helps parties build a team, and dungeon masters gauge the strength of a party for building encounters. No one forces anyone to follow their...

Core Classes: What and how many

The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge and the prudent and the ancient, The captain of fifty and the honourable man, and the counselor and the cunning artificer and the eloquent orator. So I guess the barbarian, fighter, invoker, cleric, druid, warlord, paladin, wizard, artificer and bard.

What did Wizards learn from Essentials?

I re-coloured the text, but still had trouble. The text uses long sentences to describe rules/effects.

What's your favorite play style for your D&D games?

I do not see an ounce of difference between "Heroic and high action" and "Tactical Combat." I want whatever it is that encompasses both of these.

D&D 5E What Is The Proper Order Of Attributes For D&D Next?

Strength + Constitution = Fortitude defense Dexterity + Intelligence = Reflex defense Wisdom + Charisma = Willpower defense This is the golden rule.

Cleric - Holy Warrior or Healer?

Both at the same time like in 4e
