Hero-Quest, the board game. LEGO version as idea.

That cover mockup is weird with the barbarian's overly long (for minifigs) legs :) And the center orc seems very excited to be about to be slaughtered by the heroes... Anyway, there already is a fan-mde Lego Dungeon Crawler, it's called Brickquest.

    Kickstarter: Mimic's Grids. Good idea?

This has been done before, the KS is just a combination of different ideas. I utilized magnets for most of my paper terrain & model projects, such as the "Fute Noir" one: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=46259.msg537935#msg537935 Great things can be done with the use of...

Remember these MERP/Rolemaster critical hit tables?

Arms Law and Spell Law of Channeling, maybe other Spell Law books as well.

Remember these MERP/Rolemaster critical hit tables?

Another fun crit is from Arms Law, critical damage from tiny creatures, E-100: Felled by virtually impossible hit against neck. Carotid artery severed. I assume that this is a reference to the Rabbit of Caerbannog from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, where it pounces from knight to knight...

    Carbon 2185: cyberpunk on d&d 5e

I like 5E and I love CP2020, so I am glad to see that there is an attempt to combine those too (yes, I know it's not CP2020, but seems rather close with it's straight approach to the genre as opposed to settings that stray too far into the Sci-Fi genre for my tastes).

Remember these MERP/Rolemaster critical hit tables?

Those tables were great just for reading. I remember some quite cleary: From the archery table, "Worst shot ever. Ear of attacker shot off." From the plasma damage table "Torso liquified". I think one has also an added effect that has all watchers being unable to do anything for a few rounds...

    Battlestations 2nd edition - Review

Thnks for the review. I had an eye on that game for years since the concept seemed fun, but now I'm wary.

    Map making software/apps

I only use Photoshop or similar products. It gives me the most flexibility and as an added bonus, the things you learn from using it are very useful fpr other projects and might even be applicable in the job environment.

    Diablo clone: path of exile

I played though it two times, once with a friend. A good game if you like the genre. Considering it's completely free, I was amazed at the quality of the graphics and animations. It's also still being updated with major expansions even though it's been out for years. That being said, I think a...

Looking For Map Making Tool for the Artistic Impaired/Inept

I recommend a real image editing application like GIMP or Photoshop. They are far more flexible and the time and effort to learn them (although good results can be easily achieved with minimum amount of learning) will not be wasted in any case because you will find yourself using it for all...
