Notice how they give four examples of the type of genres the game will cover, and then say that the book will contain 2-4 ready-made campaigns ? Will the campaigns be thinly veiled rip offs of the examples they give, like Shadowchasers/Buffy ? Let the voting begin: Bughunt/Aliens...

I see no problem with lower ACs in Trav. This is not DnD where you are going to be fighting toe to toe with the enemy. As soon as a firefight breaks out any traveller with an ounce of sense is going to grab as much cover bonus as he can get. Three quarters cover (+7 AC) makes up for a lot of...

I agree 100% with Bagpuss. Spontaneous healing is the one thing that makes a 3E cleric an enjoyable character to play, as opposed to a 1E 'combat medic syndrome'. How many people rushed to play a cleric in 1E? No wonder the guy's POed.

Actually, it's not even that useful. Since a badger has a reach of 0 feet, it can't threaten an adjacent opponent and so can't flank. The reason I keep casting it is that it always raises a laugh because of its insane lameness. :D
