    D&D General Monster ENCyclopedia: Will-o'-wisp

While reading through this, I was thinking about fighting will-o'-wisps in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (if memory serves me correctly), and how annoying they were. At the time, I guess I wasn't aware that wisps attacked with electricity, so for a time had no idea what the glowing orbs of...

D&D General Whatever Happened to D&D's Sea Serpent?

Missed that one. Sea Wyrm is reprinted from Corsairs of the Great Sea, an Al-Qadim product.

D&D General Whatever Happened to D&D's Sea Serpent?

The linnorms were all pretty serpent-like, though some of them retained small legs. [More on that below] I actually have been keeping track of monsters as a personal project. In addition to the ones already mentioned, there was the Sea Glutton from the Red Steel Monstrous Compendium online...

    Public Dorkery

I've never heart "rtfm" that was in the glossary before. I'm guessing its a local term, or one that is used just by that group. Sounds like it might be military in origin.

Do You Have An Ioun Stone?

I play in a home campaign where some of the adventures we did are printed ones and others are completely DM-brewed. My character has a rose (+1 AC), which I think came from one of the printed adventures. He only puts it up when expecting trouble.

Have you ever refused to come back from the dead?

I haven't had the issue come up in any home games I've ever played, but I have had characters die in the Living Greyhawk campaign. I usually have them raised (it's within the nature of the campaign), but my most recent one I didn't. I was upset with the way things went down at the table, and...

For More Than Glory (Emiricol's Campaign)

Off-Topic Hey all, sorry for the off-topic post. Hope everybody is doing well. I was just wondering, since many of you are Southern Californians, if any of you are going to be at GenCon SoCal. If so, email me at crystorix@yahoo.com. It would be cool to meet face-to-face. We know return you...

For More Than Glory (Emiricol's Campaign)

Well, I'm sorry my computer woes have kept me from showing up for the past few weeks, and they're not over yet. (I bought a computer, but I can't get sound to come out of the speakers, so I may end up returning it.) I was planning on seeing through the fight with the dragon. However, I have...

For More Than Glory (Emiricol's Campaign)

Hey all, my computer has completely died. I'm on my brother's computer long enough to type you this. I'll see about getting a new computer tomorrow, but I won't be able to make tonight's game. PS 3.5 Call Lightning can be used underground

For More Than Glory (Emiricol's Campaign)

I probably won't be able to make the game Sunday, or if so, I'll be late.

For More Than Glory (Emiricol's Campaign)

For Rolf, he only has the ring of chameleon power and the goggles of following, and he doesn't even see himself as the owner of the ring, just its holder. Thats 12700 + 2500 + 2000 gold he had plus the new 2000, for a total value of 19,200, plus masterwork sword and some other mundane...

For More Than Glory (Emiricol's Campaign)

Well, I'll be a lot nearer to you guys but a lot farther from a computer on Jan 9th. I'm visiting my grandmother in southern California. Have fun, and send me a copy of the log please.

    For More Than Glory

The night after we exposed the drow mage, Rolf has a series of dreams where he sees himself as an eagle soaring through the skies, then a deer slipping quietly through the forest, then a bear hibernating, and so on, ending with a lengthy dream of him as a wolf hunting down its prey. In the...

    For More Than Glory

Rolf escorts the others down to the port, but then returns to spend the winter with his family on Olynar. And with the winter being particularly harsh, everybody was glad to have a druid around. As spring rolls around, Rolf attends his sister's small but pleasant wedding. All longing for...
