Started RPG with Basic D&D in about, oooh...1979?
Played pretty regularly from being 13 through 17, then stopped all gaming activity and focussed on other things (martial arts, playing guitar, meditation, occultism) until I was about 22.
Carried on with occultism and meditation, and started playing again at about 22, for approaching 10 years.
Gave up the occultism and found yoga.
Gave up everything else, and made the biggest mistake of my life: gave up being a bum and got a proper job.
Got married as well, which turned out surprisingly ok.
In the meanwhile, played some Call of Cthulhu, some Traveller, some WFRP, lots of Warhammer, some 40k, some tabletop wargamming (ancients and Napoleonics).

Also build model planes. Also play the guitar again, and still practice yoga.

Approaching my third or fourth mid-life-crisis, and fancy some more role playing.
