I've played 20+ years through a variety of system and prefer to run Pathfinder (or other D20 variants), usually GMing rather than playing (although I like to do both). I see running a game as responding to the cues of the players to collaboratively create an on-going story in which the characters are more than just some combat numbers on a page, focusing on immersion to make memorable adventures and campaigns.
