Delving gives you an items purpose, the why as to its construction (possibly its history). This will come in very handy later on in this adventure.
I'm sure Jerrod knows as to why the fake coins were made, no need to double check, lol.
Not far away...
Exiting the woodlands near the old windmill, the gnome trickster Twopaz, found a set of four megaliths standing in a circle. The intriguing stones were each carved with what look like a city representing a different city. The city of winter is shown covered with snow, the city...
Twopaz character review:
- AC should be 14 (if your wearing your armor)
- HP should be 31/31 (lvl-1:10, +7, +7, +7)
- Under abilities you should list Tinker: music box - just to keep track which device you have created at the moment or by listing none, to remind us you don't have one at the...
Man EnWorld has been super busy this week. And just this thread here has almost a full page of posts from yesterday. LOL caught up as of now
Zander gave Sesto a smile and nod in greeting, but before he could ask what the priest had been up to the past couple months. Imani started to speak, and...
A bit of hope rises in Kaeldos's chest as he sees the squid-headed monster turn tail. But then it looks back and casts at the group once more. The young triton swims away, still frightened of the sorcerer and the move saves him from the conjured whirlpool as it barely has time to tug at him as...
Item Lore is normally to determine magical properties, but will also give you a rough estimate of its origin, time of make, etc.
Jerrod sits down and opens the large tome he seems to always carry in his shoulder satchel. He flips through a few of the pages before he finds the one he is looking...
5e got rid of the 5' then 10' then 5' etc. rule so each square is 5' I guess they went to the keep it simple options and wil play it that way. Try not to houserule to much as then I need to remember what rules are for which game.
Sorry I'm in the city (Magnimar) - background-wise I started in Sandpoint as my connection to Keleri is through her cousin (the mayor of Sandpoint) vouching for me as a stand up guy. Even though he doesn't outwordly appear as one.
It was for when Cyan ran off from melee. For some reason I keep thinking she has Cunning Actions, but is a rogue1/fighter1 - so retconed the attack. Hope heo4hire takes rogue 2 next level instead of fighter 2 or I'll probably be making this mistake for even longer LOL
Woo-Hoo!! HUZZAH!!
And all that jazz. Congrats on making it through our first year in my very first (not last by any means) PBP game. As a special gift on this grand occasion I am going to be adding....
1,000xp
...to the grand total for all characters. Which means you should all have fun...
Right my impression is Noboru was in Sandpoint when the mayor got word of his cousin looking for adventurer types. And the half-orc hopped on over to Magnimar to see if he could "sign up". I wrote (vaguely) that he met the Lady the night before (just for introductions), and is now killing time...
Noboru was well traveled, but the sights of "The City of Monuments" took the half-orc's breath at almost every turn. From the Irespan (a bridge built for giants to cross the sea??) to the LHonneurdu Fondateur, he had tried to make a stop at them all, questioning the Magnimarians at every other...
