I am not entirely sure why you are using Fairhaven for Flint, rather than Sharn. The city of Sharn has more of that "industrial city at the center of the world" vibe.
Besides that, this is not the first time such a conversion has been done.
The Pathfinder 1e version of the Zeitgeist adventure path is particularly egregious because almost all of the NPCs and monsters are statted extremely conservatively. I dare say that it is easier than even a typical Paizo Adventure Path.
If you are running the Pathfinder 1e version and you want...
I personally think that the requisitions subsystem is broken in all versions of the adventure path, and that it should be replaced with a simple, cleaner method of simply resetting wealth-by-level (minus consumables) at each level.
I am not sure that is quite the takeaway from it.
It is good for mountain dwarf wizards to have +2 Constitution and +2 Intelligence, yes, not to mention the extra four tool proficiencies, but what completes the package is the medium armor.
There are definitely other standout combinations...
No, as far as I understand them, ChaosOS was implying that a mountain dwarf wizard could already start with Intelligence modifier +3 using point-buy, when they actually could not.
The medium armor proficiency is the main draw. At no point did I say otherwise; I was under the impression that it...
Ideally, there should be a specific protocol for employing detect thoughts and zone of truth in interrogation rooms and courtrooms. First, someone writes out a list of twenty yes-or-no questions on a sheet of paper, all tailored to incisively question a subject at hand. For example, "Did you...
No, this is incorrect. Mountain dwarves normally have +2 Strength and +2 Constitution.
This variant rule allows a mountain dwarf, say, wizard to have +2 Constitution and +2 Intelligence. This is important, because normally, point-buy would forbid such a wizard from starting off with...
I would focus on constructing a set-piece battle against vengeful spirits released by Borne, with the PCs charged with protecting Aodhan. The raging waters and the cannon fire would be a backdrop to that. I might also consider running a naval battle anyway, with a more skill-challenge-like...
I would just like to point out the sheer zaniness of replacing Danor with Zilargo. Does this mean that Han, Lya, Luc, and friends are all pudgy manlets? Is Aodhan/Boranel marrying a gnome? What becomes of Tinker Oddcog?
I do not know if it is going to make it into the final book, given that Ryan Nock still wishes to trim or revise certain material, but I inserted a small snippet of:
Ultimately, due to a number of complex factors, we had to end our run of Zeitgeist just before the final battle. It was the only real way forward. We had an adequate run, despite the adventure path's multifarious faults.
For all the badly-mishandled 4e mechanics in the adventure path, D&D 4e...
Playing up the godmind urn is a good idea. It is a completely dropped plot thread, and tying it in to the campaign's overall themes of "collective psychic power of the masses" is a natural fit.
Might it be possible to turn the ghost council into a colossus-like figure of sorts? That is...
Also, if it helps, there could definitely be some "bonus icons" in the form of the planes talked about during the Mutravir convocation. That is what my DM did in my own game, and I believe he should be more qualified to speak on the subject.
The most confusing part of the Axis Seal ritual is that it is possible to double-slot planes in a single slot, or potentially even triple- or quadruple-slot them. The Axis Seal ritual is terribly murky on the subject, and I wish it received more detail, since multi-slotting planes naturally...
Personally, I would only really do the amnesiac Kasvarina as a PC angle if, and only if:
1. It was planned well beforehand, as opposed to inserted into the middle of the campaign, let alone after book #5.
2. The player on the receiving end is one who needs encouragement to be more active and...
