"Easy child," Rory says gently. "I will be sure to tell you father it is not your fault. Can I see your ear and chest?"

"Thank you, acolyte," Rory says, then heads over to the boy's bedside. "Good evening, young master," he says in greeting. "A concerned cleric brought you here after you were attacked. He saw very little. How are you feeling? Do you have a name? You need not be afraid, we are here to serve you."

"I will return and look after the boy, then, and see what information I can gather from him," says Rory. "If you find anything out, or need assistance, you know where to find me. However, what are we to do with this beast, in the mean time?"
