Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

Not really...players can either use it or not...they just can't horde them. Give's them a little more agency in if they want to use it. Add a point or two and succeed or try again and reroll it. But do what you want.

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

Why? I mean do what you want, but I've been using Luck for awhile now and it's a lot more interesting for players and I as DM don't have to keep track of when to give it out.

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

It's still playable and that does remind me, they said that they will be releasing more Lineages/Heritages and possibly subclasses for playtesting on the Blog

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

They said over the weekend that Migard has more content coming. The Labryinth world book will also have some Midgard content (since it's at the center) More player content is on it's way for classes, specifically in the Campaign Builder series (both Castles and Dungeons are written for ToV and...

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

I have Tome of Beast 3, they are probably closest compared to that book as far as quality, if not a bit better. I can't say much about compared to Flee Mortals, as I haven't gotten it, but I've heard it's close to it, but probably a bit under. Compared to vanilla 5e, the monsters are tougher...

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

I got both my books on Thursday...now keep in mind this is STRICKLY for the pdf's as the physical copies won't ship till later in the month for Australia, middle of June for the US and TBD for UK/EU. They are fantastic, Celeste Conowitch and the team did an amazing job with the product...

Black Flag Tales of the Valiant is out (in PDF)! What do people think?

The ORC license is used for the Black Flag Reference Document (BFRD) rather than for ToV itself, they do use the 5.1 SRD CC for that however due to attribution

    D&D 5E Humblewood: A New Third-Party Setting on D&D Beyond

I might buy this one, simply because I backed the Kickstarter and love the setting (though haven't run a game in it yet)

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

So I grew up not far from Lake Geneva (in fact I went to my first sealed event WAAAAAAY back in the day at the LGS there during either Stronghold or Urza's). So I stay somewhat up to date on the local stuff in the area and had followed the Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum on Facebook. During the whole...
