I don't agree with the 'acid is the dumbest damage type'. For dragons its absolutely the most practical and IRL damage type there is. Humans have acid in their stomachs...dragons just turn it up x1,000.

i personally would have enjoyed this thread more if it was titled The Practically Complete Review of the Practically Complete Guide to Dragons :p

don't see it mentioned, but there are 14 officially published armors, in print, in 5e. You're forgetting two armors...both spiked and silk. If its useful, here's a modified chapter 5 of the PHB which includes both, and the sources (go to page 5). Chapter 5: Equipment

Yes to your question and its more personal for me. My day job has me working in presentations a good chunk of the day, where page numbers frequently change. Referencing sections vs page numbers really is the hill I choose to die on. So yeah, not much of an issue for D&D as page numbers might...
