Flurry of Blows and Two Weapon Fighting

Ah Mr. Miagyi teach: If a monk weapon, furry of bows, yes. If monk weapon no, use two-weapon fight rules. Nuff said.

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 revisions I'm not going to use!

I think we are all missing the basic point. 3rd edition was supposed to be THE D&D edition for all time and eternity. The thought was to make 3rd edition so good and complete that there would not be any need to do another. Calling the "new" edition 3.5 is just window dressing. If there are...

    "Forcing" a potion....

In our campaign, we allow force-feeding a potion to be a standard action, but require the drinker to make a fort save DC12 or gag and throw up the potion, ruining it. Improving the Choaker

Improved critical is cool, or if I improve monsters and have no specific place to put the new feats, I always use the saving throw enhancers: Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes, and Great fortitude.

Seen anyone drown in an encounter?

I haven't seen anyone drown, although I did have a PC get eaten by a giant catfish. PC is still officially MIA.

    Summoned monster with a conscience

Recently I had a wizard summon an Archon via a Monster Summoning IX. He had it trounce some bad guys, but then he wanted it to kill some captured opponents who couldn't defend themselves. I ruled the Archon, being the embodiment of goodness, could refuse such an order. The wizard seemed bent...
