I am one of those few odd people who write and edit more games than they play them. Distance and lack of free time eman I get to play less than iw ant.
Otoh, I do get to write and edit, and I do love writing and editing.
Most of my 'work' has been for organized Play : Living Greyhawk, Living Forgotten Realms and Ashes of Athas.
I did a bit of commercial work (article for Dungeon and an accessory for Raging Swan). Hopefully, I will make more of that this year (2013).
This year's goal also includes writing an adventure I promised to Brian Cortijo and Ed Greenwood, and a novel (working title: 'Be Sweet'). Of course, there is quite a difference between an idea and actually executing it, so let's see what has I get to actually do at the end of this year.
