A Shattering Experience With The Shattered Dawn RPG

Funded for just over $10K internet bucks, chances are good you missed out the Shattered Dawn Kickstarter by Shattered Tabletop Games. While I’ve written plenty of reviews the last couple of years, it’s rare that I find myself immediately contacting the publisher about the material, within the...

Reload The Savage World Of Deadlands

To many big words... Neologism? Malapropism? Seriously, it's nice to have a fan. I find it hard to be a coincidence... (again) So, how many accounts do you have?

Reload The Savage World Of Deadlands

Nope I meant what I said... As in it didn't excite anyone in my group to play it. They weren't confused (or nonplussed) about what the game was... Just not enthused to play it.

Reload The Savage World Of Deadlands

I've heard a lot from my GM as to liking the original (non-Savage Worlds) Deadlands as well. I haven't got a look at it yet. With SW Deadlands, I like the way Ghost Rock is defined in the setting... And with how some of the archetypes fit the genre, really well.

Reload The Savage World Of Deadlands

It’s been five years since I first read Savage Worlds and until rather recently my experience was left to that of an appreciative reader. I’m certain some of you know this experience. You have something and want to run (or play), and paid good money for it, but everyone in your group is...

Getting Lost In Mazes and Perils Deluxe

Honestly, I've looked at ACKS and reviewed it for KoDT. It's pretty interesting. I have a number of the supplements. So I need to take a closer look and find one of their products "not usually reviewed," and review that. It's in mind.

Getting Lost In Mazes and Perils Deluxe

You're 100% right. Also that line should have been... "Through 12th level with the original boxed sets," and so forth; not focused on "Holmes Basic. The funny part is I couldn't remember where I had seen those classes first. I had to look up the publish dates for the Rules Cyclopedia (published...

Getting Lost In Mazes and Perils Deluxe

Even though I’ve played and enjoyed just about every edition of Dungeons & Dragons, with an exception to 4th, I’ve pretty much stayed out of the fray in regards to D&D clones. I’ve somewhat maintained the semblance of a semi-regular D&D Basic campaign (live game) for about two years, primarily...
