I’m seeing a lot of gun in those pictures and not very much wand. I think I’m going to give this book a hard pass. I’ve already got 3e and 4e’s version of this book. I don’t really need a 3rd.

One of the things that made Eberron notable is there was no knowledge if the gods existed. I see 5e is doing its classic “let’s ignore/rewrite canon”. Like I said before: WotC doesn’t care about canon. So no one else should.

Its the Eberron setting as outlined in the Eberron setting book. It seems really important to you that your One True Way be acknowledged as the “default”. Is there any particular reason for that?

From the Wayfinder’s Guide Sure seems like a setting to me. From the 5e DMG Yup. Settings still seem to be a thing. But it doesn’t have to be at your table of course. No “One True Way”. Right?
