My friend and I are both playing are own characters in co-op game, and I am playing my own character in my solo game. But if the game is truly that compelling and replayable I could see myself trying it with everyone Origin character in time.

I would expect Paizo to be somewhat risk averse in this respect so I think the odds are good that the system will work nicely. I do not care to guess whether it will sell. But I would bet that it will be well regarded design wise.

I would guess that the details of her life could be well known here but my friend just shared a post on Fb about Judy-Lyn del Rey, the eponymous publisher, and I do not think I had been aware at all of her story, despite having read more than a few del Rey books when I was young. It was enough...

For some reason to me it almost looks like we are seeing two different Godzilla's in this trailer.

I do not know so much that it is combining genres so much as tacking on functionality from one game to another. Like, maybe I should not have said KC: Deliverance, because I was not really looking at the story so much as the setting and open-worldness. Mostly my thinking was thought sometimes...

I imagine it would take too much processing power to run effectively but imagine if you took Total War and Supreme Commander and/or Kingdom Come and mashed them together into the next logical step: an open world real time strategy game with an enormous, sprawling, persistent map.

Last week I started playing Baldur's Gate 3 with my closest friend. But in the other video game thread someone has alluded to "Larian barrel and surface spam" and being a veteran of both Original Sin games... now I am scared.

I feel like Path of Exile gets priority on that one. Same way HotS almost always means Heroes of the Storm and not Heart of the Swarm (someone at Blizzard really screwed the pooch on that one).

I do not think we need to hear about people like the "intelligence chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp [of Iran]" in the remembrance thread. I do not think it meets any reasonable definition of what those threads are for, and should be more or less disallowed.

Why is this relevant to this thread? No one is going to mourn this guy, and unlike, say, Khamenei, no one has even heard of him either. And it has nothing to do with anything entertainment or culture related.
