Generally my attitude as well. As mich as I disapprove of WotC, I have to root for them on this specific issue lest we give people like LaNasa a larger platform which is detrimental to the hobby as a whole.

Some good news!

Me and many MANY others would have been happy to see an "evolving take" on drow in Golarion, especially since one of their demon lords they venerated shifted alignment and ascended to godhood which would have been an amazing storyline to follow. But nope, just hit the big red retcon button.

It is a matter of principle to me. Doesn't help that my mere mentioning that I like drow on other websites/forums in recent days led to getting my personal character impugned. No, after this news I've found all enthusiasm for not only the current edition but also even the previous one wilt away...

Removal of the drow has 100% killed all enthusiasm I had for not only the Remaster but Pathfinder as a whole and I am, after a decade, going to leave both 1e and 2e Pathfinder. It has been a ride but to cut one of my absolutely favorite aspects of the setting is just way too much for me. Best of...

I mean, I'm certainly no fan of 5e or any of the UA I've read for the upcoming revision, but overwhelmingly is WotC being just a terrible company overall that people are attacking.

Love this book, not just for all the cool ships but also all of the cool Mission Briefs in it.

I think the only major fix needed would be, like, just do what modern 4e players do - give a free expertise feat at level 1 (or adjust the math for monster defenses down by one on average, keeping their best defense as is maybe?) and make sure every race has the standard +2 to one set ability...

I would just want more of everything.
