I really respect your opinion on these boards, but I don't understand this argument completely. The Kender are not an ethnic group - they are a different species. And if the complaint is that they're all anti-social and an "unchanging" race - wasn't there a significant number of them permanently...

I have a question. If it winds up being in everybody's best interest to actually publish something, couldn't WotC take the manuscripts, rip out or replace what the feel is objectionable, put it out there, and dust their hands? I mean: Hickman & Weiss would've been paid, the publishing house...
