    Xanathars guide

This is the alarming part, to me. The book thing seems like just a symptom of this DM's need to "win." DMs like this typically won't offer their players anything they consider an "edge." I wouldn't be surprised if this DM, given XGtE as a gift, said, "can't use until I've had a chance to read...

Bonds of Forced Faith: Prologue or Diaspora? (and other questions)

The "character sheets" were inspired by the ones in the Pathfinder version, which came first, but there's no real template or "blank" to fill in—they were a one-off specifically customized to each of those characters. And yeah, I use InDesign.

ZEITGEIST Ever thought of getting Battlebards or Syrinscape to produce soundscapes for Zeitgeist?

I can't help but think that the soundtrack for the old CRPG Arcanum might be appropriate. http://www.terra-arcanum.com/downloads/ (in the "Arcanum" category).

    WOIN Supers

After thinking it over I wound up making some substantive edits to my post. Please read the edited version and I apologize if I was being or sounding accusatory.

    WOIN Supers

Keep in mind that if you use the list of archetypes from the d20 Hero SRD, to play it safe you'd probably need to include the d20 OGL in your work if you publish it, adding a cite to the d20 Hero SRD in the Section 15.

    D&D 5E Ravenloft= Meh

I categorically reject the notion that D&D "cannot do" horror. I personally DMed a "weekend in hell" style Ravenloft game over the course of 3 years in the 90s. Ravenloft is my favorite 2E setting hands down. It's true that if you feed "beer and pretzels" into one end you're not going to get...

D&D Movie Takes Cues From GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Looked at charitably, the reference to GOTG (and Raiders of the Lost Ark) could simply indicate that the filmmakers are seeking a change in tone from what's gone before, not necessarily to lift the "formula" (whatever that is) intact from another film. Gunn is (presumably) right in that the...

D&D Movie Takes Cues From GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Yes, they did. But there's a difference between a determined effort to make one character "the comic relief" and a determined effort to write wryly self-aware characters into inherently ridiculous but still serious situations that they can quip about but still act seriously toward. Not that GOTG...

    D&D 5E 5e Creature Decks: All a monster's stats on one card

My opinion is that you need better fonts. I would suggest ditching the two-font setup (Souvenir and Arial Narrow) and stick with weights of a single font (Bold and Normal/Book). If you're absolutely adamant about a narrow or condensed width sans, here are a couple with at least two weights and...

    Luke's lightsaber (WOIN stats)

Sure you got the right hilt on that one? That looks like the "green bladed" one he builds himself.
