Interesting, I will definitely have to continue reading the book I haven't gotten all the way through but had a random thought about it.
Your suggestion of fitting the 2e module into the SD range might be a better way.
Some context I should include is that I just finished a CoS 5e campaign...
The new ShadowDark system caps out at level 10, the adventure Die Vecne Die goes to level 13 I believe. I was wondering if the math breaks down after level 10 or if I can have my players continue pass and continue to select talents from the list??
Interesting thank you for this insight I did not know the distance was broken down that much, I have not read all of the book yet lol. Your suggestion is intriguing its very similar to 5e's cunning action, I like it
Hello everyone, more context for my question, I have been using side initiative with a single d6 no modifiers from the players which is contested by me the DM each round of combat in my 5e games. I am wanting to switch to shadowdark for future games. I would like to continue to use side...

Cool thanks for this information I will help me greatly, I started re-reading the chronicles novels again and somethings are making clear sense to me now that did not pick up until now.
After the cataclysm the people believe the gods left Krynn and that meant no more clerics. The mages however still had access to there magic I am not sure if this was explained on why they still had access to it? If someone could explain or point me in the direction of a thread that explained...
Battlesystem that great, eh?? I've not read or used it I just know it existed.
As for the Scenarios I would say not very long as long as people are quick on their decision and understand the rules enough. There is a timer built into it so that once you do X amount of turns if you do not...
That is unfortunate to hear I can definitely see some people not liking the board game aspect.
For me was the opposite reaction, I'm also an avid board-gamer and I like the game as a stand alone game. I had one player who was not into board games like the game. We played the first 2 scenarios I...
Sorry for the late reply little while ago I sat down with my players on an off dy and cracked open the game it went really well and we agree that it would work good with the campaign.
After some thought I think I am also not running the module since it is a side event to the main story. I plan...
Good day fellow DM's a player of mine purchase the boardgame and module and gifted it to me as a thank you for well being the DM. I was very touched by his gift since he knows I am a huge Dragonlance fan.
As the title suggested I was wondering if anyone has attempted to incorporate the board...
I can see that re-calculating damage after every hit can possibly be complicated or to much booking in that point of view but I'm starting to think having durability might be to bothersome but just to be more of a flavor thing when the players reach a habitable area to get their stuff repaired...
