    Converting Planescape monsters

It's kind of strange because Modronoids are given their own stats, but the descriptions for how they are created sound more like a template (modron) being added to a humanoid. For example, the npc ally named Xaldra ends up appearing as a Modronoid (pg 56). The PCs clearly recognize it as Xaldra...

    Converting Planescape monsters

Would you guys have any interest in converting the Modronoid (Great Modron March pg 56, pg 59, & pg 109) as a 3.5e template? I believe it's the only creature needing a conversion in that adventure. If you are not familiar with them, it's a humanoid that has had modron parts grafted to their...

    Converting Planescape monsters

I can certainly try to help, but I don't seem to be as knowledgeable about monster creation as you guys. I tried to help before, but my suggestions were always shot down and I felt like I was being more of a burden than helpful. That is not meant as a dig on you guys. You know your stuff. I'm...

    Converting Planescape monsters

Well, maybe this could help kick start things? I did not write this up. I believe I pulled this from an old WotC conversion thread back in the 3.5 days. I only have the mechanical effects and this was sort of my cliff notes version that I used years ago when I ran some of these guys in an...

    Converting Planescape monsters

Ah man, not even the Reave? We've been waiting on those guys since 2004. Ok, maybe I'm the only one that has been waiting on those guys. :p

That's great! Thanks a lot, that'll work just fine. :)

    Converting Planescape monsters

Yeah I think we may reach this encounter by June. If you had a homebrew version to use that would be just fine. Thanks!

    Converting Planescape monsters

I just thought I'd mention this. I asked about the Figment conversion back in August. I estimate that my players will be encountering these Figments within the next 6 weeks (we play every 2 weeks). Is this conversion not worth doing? Should I be re-skinning another creature instead and calling...

    Kris' all new miniature thread

I really love your painting style. I wish I could hire you out to paint my bones minis.

    3D Printing Minis

I have never 3D printed a mini myself, but I have a few of the Hero Forge minis. I believe they are 3D printed? They are pretty darn nice in detail. I have the gray plastic versions which were supposed to be higher quality. The plastic is a bit brittle, so it can't just be thrown into a bag like...

Any huge sized wolf or worg-like animals?

Thanks for the suggestions so far. The creature can be from any edition of D&D. Doesn't need to just be 3.5e. The Thyrm Hound was a good one although I was hoping for something more similar to a wolf rather than a winter wolf.

Any huge sized wolf or worg-like animals?

I'm trying to find a huge sized animal that is similar to a wolf, dire wolf, worg, etc, etc. Other than the Winter Wolf (Rime Hound), is there any other wolf-like animal that is huge size? I know I can advance creatures to make them huge. So I'm looking for something that is naturally huge sized.

Converting monsters from Tales From The Infinite Staircase

Can I suggest the Valgoss (page 48, NEW MONSTER), Tale 3: Lord of the Worms?

Any new music/ambience/SFX software out there?

For years I've been using http://softrope.net/ to play background music and sound FX at my table. It's nice because it allows custom playlists and you can control the volume of each sound independently (which oddly enough no other audio playback program did at the time). Unfortunately it has not...
