Multiclassing isn't only for CharOp purposes
Optimization isn't inherently bad
The Warlock being super frontloaded is biggest source of such eyerolling
Wow. There are so many races that you can find just about any permutation of +2/+1 to the ability scores that you want, so I expected it to be fine, but upon closer examination there really are a few races that are very precisely balanced. Obviously the Mountain Dwarf, but also flying races (I'm...
Accurate. Personally I would say "In for a penny, in for getting two 2nd level Pact Magic slots, invocations without a feat, and a Pact Boon" but to each their own, it's nice to have both options.
You cannot take Agonizing Blast with Eldritch Adept without dipping Warlock. The feat says...
"If the invocation has a prerequisite, you can choose that invocation only if you’re a warlock and only if you meet the prerequisite."
I know, ri-wait... Xanathar's was THREE YEARS AGO? Where does...
I agree, it's a very potent build! I feel like I never hear people talk about how powerful the Shadow Sorcerer is. They get the Darkness + Devil's Sight combo for free, Hound of Ill Omen gives you a pseudo-Heighten Spell, and the other features are all super decent as well! Quickened Agonizing...
It's been brought up a couple times, but just to be sure nobody glosses over it, I'll say it once more extra loud.
YOU CAN'T TAKE AGONIZING BLAST WITH ELDRITCH ADAPT
...unless you are already a Warlock. The feat doesn't allow non-Warlocks to take invocations that have requirements even if they...
GGtR is not an allowed source.
Your damage calculations for Booming Blade appear to assume that your opponent not only always moves while under it's effect, but that they move on your turn between your attacks. Unless your opponent is actively trying to help you this seems exceedingly...
The Druid doesn't have to face a Moon Druid, because the challenge is to beat every other class, and access to subclass features was stated in the original post, so I don't know what you are trying to say.
By waiting out the Resilient Sphere? The Wizard can't do a whole lot from within it, and a properly built archer can still shoot a Wizard dead in a single good turn when it drops. The Wizard has tons of good options for controlling opponents, but fewer good ones for depleting a large amount of...
The Wizard is by far my favorite class, but y'all are drastically overestimating how good they are at a 1v1 slugfest. Unless non-lethal removal like Plane Shift counts as a win, and even then it's still pretty debatable.
