I wonder if it will be a non-Kickstarter release. Usually they do 1-2 books a year that are non Kickstarter books such as Courts of the Shadow Fey and the Zobeck Gazetteer which both clocked in at around 150 pages.
Yeah, I am not sure about your business sense. In almost no business is a customer required to provide demographics but yet somehow businesses figure it out. Spoiler: Businesses have ways of knowing who their customers are without asking them.

Currently, I have about 150-200 dice but I have backed 3 dice Kickstarters for which I am awaiting the rewards. So about another 100 dice are coming my way in the next 6 months.....

While I agree that default DL isn’t very gritty, it depends on the time period. Play in a campaign right after the Cataclysm and it can be very gritty.
They did not “take over” the RPG. It was their Kickstarter from the beginning. I agree that they have had some unforeseeable issues but I don’t agree with the wording to say that they have taken it over.
I don’t know which one Brian was referencing but the backers of the Lost Citadel for 5E are still waiting for the physical books which is almost 2 years behind schedule....
