I didn't see it anywhere on here so figured I would start a thread. John Harper (designer behind Lady Blackbird and Ghost Lines) has launched a kickstarter for his new game Blades in the Dark. It's a game focused on running a group of scoundrels and rogues on various scores as they try and raise...
I know that they have licensed a couple of settings in the past (Dragonlance and Ravenloft Specifically), but for this edition I don't see them working out that sort of arrangement again. This is especially true with the way they are valuing the IP itself over the game.
I missed the speculation leading back in to Tabletop. On his podcast Wil was talking about how he was designing the setting, but there were RPG people working on it with him and taking his ideas to translate into mechanics/adventures and such. He didn't want to talk about any more details...
Not sure how many of you are familiar with Wil Wheaton's show on youtube called TableTop, but as part of the kickstarter for the 3rd season there was a stretch goal for an RPG show. On Wil's most recent podcast he spoke about working on said show and that there would be adventures and a world...
The care given to organization really is going to come down to the people working there. I was lucky to work with a bunch of gamers/comic people (with the exception of our store manager) so we generally kept that section in order. As the staff changed and we moved on to other jobs/careers, that...

Pact Magic under multiclassing says you can use those slots to cast the other class's spells and the other class's slots to cast Warlock spells. I assumed that would mean you could use those slots to smite, but I just double checked the wording on Smite and now have doubts.
The ogre in our playtest floored the rogue, who was then healed by the dwarven cleric. While the rogue faked being dead the ogre dropped the dwarf and then the rogue again when she tried to get a sneak attack. The ogre then chased the wizard and the human cleric out of the cave. The wizard...
I signed up with a different email than my original wizards account. I then tried to make a new account with the new e-mail address, and tried to submit to get a download link to my original account. Neither effort has provided any succes. I can't even login to send customer support a ticket. If...
I went 3.x because without a doubt it is the system that I have gotten the most mileage from. A very close second was AD&D 2nd Ed. It's where I started and I still look back on it fondly. Our 2nd Ed Ravenloft campaign remains my group's quintessential campaign experience. I also enjoyed 4e, but...
