My players are on a mission to find and stop an ancient evil from breaking free. They know little about their mission though, needing to gather information. They are about to meet an incredibly old druid with great powers that holds valuable information about their destination; however, they...
How do you guys handle players with really high passive perception? I have one that got the Observant feat and high Perception already, giving them 21 Passive Perception at level 1... How the hell do I deal with that!? They spot everything at all times...
Hey there, my party is currently on a race against other adventurers to get a dragon hoard after the dragon was slain away from its home. The party learned that the hoard was hidden somewhere (Adult Black Dragon BTW) and every adventurer in the area also knows this.
I have some combat...
Just things I should be on the look-out for is all. I know they can't be healed with magic, but have self-healing. I wonder if that plays a major part in how to handle combat for them.
I recently made one of my players into a Revenant (from the Gothic UA). We haven't had a session since so I would like to know if anyone has tips or experiences with PC Revenants.
The campaign started with them shipwrecking on an unknown island with a massive jungle. They are in a new continent (after years of playing in the same continent) and know nothing. They have been attacked by dinosaurs, giant apes and beastmen berserkers. It is a very heavy and thick jungle area...
UPDATE
I talked to the ranged fighters (Artificer Gunsmith and Ranger/Rogue) and they claim that their characters are supposed to be "Ranged fighters" so they will keep doing it as long as enemies keep getting close.
Then we had a session... (first for the rogue/ranger, third fight with the...
They got sharpshooter feat and a artificer(gunsmith) rifle. Every single fight they use their movement to get further and further and further away to the point where I sometimes run out of map... Plus, they get so far away that no enemy can reach them and they end up not really getting damaged...
Thank you everyone! I have decided to go with the Heroes Feast idea. They killed a T-Rex and were about to cook it anyway, so I'll turn that into the feast and have it last until they leave the jungle.
I do like the blessing or boon idea for the duration of the journey. Something like, they get the benefits of a Heroes' Feast until they reach civilization... or each gets a buff?
I also like the idea of help during a future battle. At some point, if they end up taking a certain item from a...
I honestly do not want to give them more healing, the life cleric is already a massive heal bot. The rare item idea is nice though.
An angel I fear would just end the whole plotline or make it way too easy.
While hilarious... it kinda specifies that they ask their deity. Also, it would be kind...
Hey there!
So we just finished the first session in the new campaign. The players are level 10 were on a ship heading to the "New World", however that ship sank and they (plus 30 other people) washed up on some shore. They ventured into the unknown jungles of this new place and after fighting...
MORE INFORMATION:
The Party: The party was composed of three members. Two of them hated each other deeply. After one ambush from their nemesis, one of the died but was immediately resurrected by a wish they had kept from a previous adventure. The party member didn't want to be resurrected (it...
