The 3rd level Paladin spell (they can't get it until they're 9th) Aura of Vitality does some great healing even if just used out of combat, but handy running in combat.

Like Henry, I too missed this when it first started, but definitely join in encouraging a thread full of these and will try to contribute in the near future

Well that answers it :) The guy barely makes 10 feet on best attempt, and that is without weapon, helm, and all the other sundry things a D&D adventurer would be wearing. He also doesn't have the normal underlayers of padding that armor would use which would absorb water and make swimming even...

in a word: Absolutely! Bravo and well done Mr. Mearls and Company....all three core books have brought me back to the excitement level of when I first started playing D&D (...many years ago)

I'm running it now and you can definitely leave it as is....opening episode has a lot of activities for the adventurers to tackle before they get a long rest.
