    OSR Dragonslayer RPG truly delivers.

And next to no support for the game outside of Facebook. I dislike FB but I have an account just for keeping tabs on certain RPG companies but haven't used it for a couple of years. Recently though, I twice applied to be accepted into the Dragonslayer FB group so I can download the character...

    OSR Dragonslayer RPG truly delivers.

This is what I like about Ben Milton's Knave RPG. He gives the reader his reasons for why certain rules are the way they are. It usually puts my mind to rest when I'm shown the bigger picture. But definitely, wanting to cleave to an old school lethal mode of play but having HP possibly get out...

    [+] Rules light RPGs

Love this post. Well done. It's made me look at rules-light RPGs in a whole new lite (see what I did there?)

Pathfinder 1E Lands of Porphyra Campaign Setting

So, the Porphyra Campaign setting is PF1 and Porphyra the Rpg is PF2? Sorry, I'm new to the whole PF product line.

Pathfinder 1E Lands of Porphyra Campaign Setting

Hey all I'm looking to start my first real attempt at GMing Pathfinder (1ed) and to that end, I'm looking at the Lands of Porphyra setting. It sounds interesting but I was wondering if anyone has experience with it, and if so, what are the setting's positive and negative aspects...

D&D 5E Breaking up the level advancement

It's to avoid the 'ding' issue, wherein suddenly, everyone is better at attacking, skills, tougher (hit points) etc. I want a more gradual progression.

D&D 5E Breaking up the level advancement

I would like to break up the level advancement of 5th ed, similar to how 13th Age does it. I'm not going to use the xp award system at all, I'll simply tell the players when their characters advance. But an advance brings only one improved benefit at a time. For example, the first advance...

    D&D 5E Ranger Fix

Aside from the companion fix to the Ranger, have you implemented any other house rule to make the Ranger more useful?

    My PF Questions

Thank you for that Empirate I agree, it seems the nature of rpgs in general will always end up going down this route, especially fantasy rpgs. Perhaps armour that soaks damage would be more useful at mid/high levels. That way armour per se, is still important. Or at least not as redundant
