Dagger in the Heart: A Campaign Book for Heart: The City Beneath

Looks really cool, thanks. Heart is in my queue, maybe this is the right time to try it?

    Bloodborne dungeon crawl ?

In my yearly playthrough of BB on PS5, and it reminded how awesome it's setting is. In special, the "the tomb of the gods" as this old Eldritch civilization ruins central to the setting, that every faction tries to explore for it's mysteries and riches, from early Byrgenwerth University and it's...

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

For supplements, I'd settle for a new Planewalker's Handbook with more player options (specially the missing factions backgrounds/feats) and a gazeteer of the planes from the planewalker's guild POV as a "best of" the old planes of boxes.

    Planescape Definitive Planescape adventure

Yeah, I think the Torment videogame is the better example of the possibilities and adventures in the setting, more so than any actual adventure published. Outlandish, over-the-top or weird situations, usually with some manner of personal stakes involved. (the factions help with the later, as...

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

Thanks for the honest response. Lemme ask this though: wouldn't you prefer a detailed setting, even if small in scope, with it's places, people and factions and their agendas, assets, modus operandi, etc. depicted? Specially if coupled with some sort of play structure like a procedural...

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

Late to the party but thanks for the review. As an old fan of the original boxed set and the Torment videogame I've found this a decent work. My only gripe is the adventure wasting so much space that could go to factions' PC abilities plus an intro to the great wheel from a Sigilian POV. Still...

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

Thanks for the feedback. I suspected the faction abilities wouldn't be present. Just confirming. I've put the supplement in my queue as it seems pretty good regardless. Supernatural abilities would be a good fit IMO, since the faction abilities supposedly come, among other things, from belief...

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

This supplement looks great and the right companion for the new P: AitM. A question: are there Sigil faction abilities in this book? I suspect not as this doesn't seem to be the scope here, but I'd like to confirm.

D&D 5E Planescape, Bigby, Phandelver and the Deck of Many Things: Covers & Details Revealed!

So, it seems Morte will be the narrator of the monsters book. I hope they get the tone right, he's probably my favorite videogame NPC ever. I would love to see Dak'kon in the book too.

D&D 5E Planescape, Bigby, Phandelver and the Deck of Many Things: Covers & Details Revealed!

Being honest, the original faction setup had it's fair share of problems and are worth a revision. Some factions were not even beliefs (Revolutionaries, Free League), while others too one-note (Harmonium, Mercy Killers, Doom Guard) or had very little playability potential (Dustmen, Xaositechs)...

D&D 5E Planescape, Bigby, Phandelver and the Deck of Many Things: Covers & Details Revealed!

Agree on all accounts, @Quickleaf . That piece of art is not my jam (too cheerful, the blades on buildings feel even out of place with the vibes) but if it's one of the few whimsy pieces to make the book, fine, as I'm okay with some mood-breaking pieces here and there to enlighten things a bit...

D&D 5E Planescape, Bigby, Phandelver and the Deck of Many Things: Covers & Details Revealed!

Anyone knows if Gate Towns are confirmed in the outlands? Sad. Looks more a mock or parody than a serious take on Sigil, IMO.

D&D 5E Planescape, Bigby, Phandelver and the Deck of Many Things: Covers & Details Revealed!

Hope this is not official. This feels more Shadowrun and cyberpunk (a weirdly joyful one at that) than the gothic, grimy and industrial view I have of Sigil. Edit: And the blades on buildings look out of place. Like a checklist the artist had to follow but couldn't integrate well. Who would...

D&D 5E Planescape, Bigby, Phandelver and the Deck of Many Things: Covers & Details Revealed!

I'm more curious about the Planescape factions. Gossip at the time was the Faction War was supposed to reset it, with a subsequent product laying down the new faction setup (which never hapenned). If that's true I'm curious to see if they go ahead with that goal. I certainly see problems in the...

Planescape 5e Planescape- What would you like to see in the upcoming setting?

You don't need to remember all factions though, @Quickleaf , just the handful or so ones the group is interacting with. The beauty of that tool is how it organizes what's there in the city in a easy to understand manner - governmental, religious, criminal, etc entities, in a easy to use format...
