Hi all,
My friends made a roleplaying game (Olde School Wizardry) and their Kickstarter went live this morning! Olde School Wizardry is a tabletop roleplaying game system with rich world building stemming from the question: "What if an adventuring party was composed completely of first level...
You can also soak the paper in water, then sprinkle it with instant coffee crystals. It makes aged spots and you can wipe it around to darken the paper. My girls and I do that to make treasure maps.
I started with 2nd Ed. and a friend from school who played before helped me make my first character. I thought it would be cool to multiclass so he gave me the best of both classes (Thief and Illusionist) and whenever I got XP I applied it to both classes to figure out what abilities I had from...
I like the idea. I think the difficult part would be developing 5+ racial feats/features that were thematic, interesting, and fit into 5th Edition's design strategy.
FFG had a 3.5 setting called Dawnforge that had some mechanic for gaining additional racial traits/feats/features to make them...
I don't know if these count as a mashup but they're insanely brilliant. I would buy a full Milky Edwards and the Chamberlings album in an instant.

With such delicious randomness, what's not to like?? (Aside from it not being on the wild magic sorcerer's list.)
That said, I too have never seen it used and I think Warmaster Horus captures the reasons why perfectly.
I guess if you think it won't be seen as an attack. But I would put myself in the vampire's shoes and see how it looks. If there's the possibility of leading to more strife, just pass on it.
Also while it's nice to end the campaign with some measure of closure, it's not terrible to end it...
I suppose Ahriri could build one that wouldn't be perceived negatively but their "what an innocent coincidence" comment makes it seem intentionally vindictive. To me it's not worth the negativity to build an blatantly vindictive puzzle nor worth spending time and effort to design a vindictive...
I recommend not doing the water puzzle. From reading your other post it's perfectly fair for you to be ready to fold this campaign. But don't end it with the water puzzle. It's passive aggressive and it will only contribute to bad feelings. If you're done with the campaign, save yourself the...
First I would bounce it off of your GM and fellow players. You're hamstringing yourself so personally I wouldn't have an issue with it. But I know some players/GMs who would be irritated by it, so I would find out what your players and GM think and try to get them on board or meet them half...
I think it's too early in the development process to say whether it sounds good. The director and EP have some good works under their belt, so that could be a good sign.
I would jump into running the game with the group and let them build up their character experience together, rather than apart. I can appreciate being nervous on your first time GMing. I get the same way even after GMing a bunch. (Although I'm primarily a player.) I find it's best to just...
It appears Amazon is developing a Conan series with one of the Game of Thrones directors and an executive producer of Fargo and The Handmaiden’s Tale. What I read says there’s no release date yet or stars attached.
