Wyrmwood

Gamer since '92, nerd since birth. Other than that my life's pretty typical for a lower middle class schlub. I'm lucky enough to be married to a nice non-gamer, who turned gamer just to share a hobby. I enjoy films, video games, and of course fantasy and sci-fi fiction. I'm also a fan of less nerdly authors such as Chuck Palahniuk, Christopher Moore, and Stephen King. I'm big into books, comics, films, and games that challenge your perceptions and have different takes on the world. I'm pretty laid back and easy going (read: lazy), and I like nothing more than three or more games a month. I'm a big fan of Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman as comic book authors, as well as Joss Whedon's various tv shows and comics. Recently I've been enjoying the Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher, who takes some of the best parts of mystery, action, and modern fantasy and turns them into very enjoyable reads.
