12 damage it is then.

You fall back to just in front of the Cleric (he's currently prone, slightly above you on the front deck).

It's now the Clerics turn.

In spite of lending a hand to steady his comrade, Alvin staggers and falls to his side with a clattering crash. Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise as a burning explosion of flames sweeps over his head, licking tongues of flame scalding his cheeks. "Gods that was a close. Now let's see what we can do to shake things up!"

He clambers to his feet, keeping his stance wide as he struggles against the wind, and peers across the narrow gulf between ships. Then he thrusts his hand out towards the unmanned wheel of the enemy ship. A twinkle of light dances over the ring on his finger, and he ties to turn the wheel of the ship counterclockwise sharply, hoping to drop the enemy crew into the Astral, or at least send them sprawling.
----------------------------------

Standard: Ring of Telekinesis on the wheel of the enemy ship. (Dropping concentration on Spirit Shroud)
Bonus: None.
Move: None.

Excellent plan, but it's not a wheel - the helm is actually some kind of strange glowing Orb - there looks to be no way to 'move' it.

I do hate to see such a good plan go to waste though, so you can have inspiration at least while I let you think of another one.

You (and the Bard) already have it, so you can choose who else gets it.

I attempt to push the orb off. Alvin doesn't know if it will work or not, but he would try!
Giving the Rogue inspiration. Might save her a bonus action sometime.
