The only famous archmages to appear in 5th edition products so far are Mordenkainen (in Curse of Strahd) and Tasha (in Wild Beyond the Witchlight).

You forget Elminister did commentary in VGtM, those notees that appear in it, he appeared in BG3 (sort of), he appeared MtG set Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate a set which made WotC over a $100,000,000, he got mentioned in DADHAT, and he appeared in at least 3 5e Novels.

Fizban too. Szass Tam. Actually if you count the SCAG a bunch of FR fameous Archemages get mentioned, like Nezram World Walker, Laerel Silverhand, the latest Blackstaff, Larloch, Ioun, etc...
FR is kind of know for its fameous Archmages.
