The "I Didn't Comment in Another Thread" Thread

Can't speak for anyone else but I'm computer support and up at 5:30am North American Eastern Time, and most days I'm sitting in front of a computer while working from home. Days like today I'm up at 4:15am to get to work in downtown Toronto by 5:15am. One of my friends moved to the UK temporarily, for a couple of years, and did say he was amazed that any time he was online, I was.
Same here. I manage the Eastern US SD team, so I have to start an hour before anyone else, as well as work into the night because the corporate office is on the West Coast, and no one pays attention to East Coast time when scheduling meetings. 12-15 hour days are the norm.

As for posting, do it from my phone in between managing, escalating, training, and the dreaded meetings that are just there because people think they need them to accomplish anything.

How do some of you people find the time to post all the time? The best I can do is sporadically check the forums at work, but some people are up 24/7, adding 5 pages of posts to threads that are as long as essays, all throughout the day. Do you not sleep?
Work from home, plus the smartphone, plus I don't watch/listen to a lot of TV or movies or podcasts.

I also go through periods where I post a lot, and then periods where I'm barely here.

This has absolutely nothing to do with any thread, but I started developing a new religion for a campaign I’m playing in (each player gets to add pieces to the worldbuilding when making their character). In the process of researching names for angels, I stumbled upon Mandaeism, the last surviving Gnostic faith. It’s really interesting and is what I ended up basing most of the religion on (but I also mixed in aspects of Jainism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, and a few other faiths).

As an aside to the aside, I always thought that Mazda Motor Company missed a bet when they failed to call one of their cars the Ahura.

Little PSA. You’re supposed to root for the underdog not the mega-corp.
The most dystopian thing about the 21st century is how much people are openly rooting for the villains generally -- not speaking in specifics here, since the issue is so widespread -- even when it's going to hurt them, because they've been sold some weird tribalism by cynical marketing folks.
