Entirely normal reactions. Just give it time, and don't be shy about getting some counseling if you want/need it. You have to manage how the scars form from this kind of thing or it can really mess you up long-term.
My Comic & Game store got broken into and burgled.
Yeah that's probably the worst part- the violation and alteration of mentality.Man, that stinks. It can't feel good to have people do that to your business.

Our house was burglarized when I was a kid while we were on vacation. Although they didn't get much of note (they got the VCR, didn't take the PC and didn't find my dad's guns), the feeling of violation -- I could see a big muddy boot print on my bedroom carpet -- was intense and it lasted for a good while.

Sorry to hear about this, but glad it won't force you out of business. I have 3 friends who've owned game stores in my city, but only 1 remains in business. None were/have been broken into and the 2 closed for reasons other than theft - rents are ridiculously inflated in my city. All 3 complained that losses from shoplifting was a problem. Running a game store is too much of a struggle to have thieves busting in or taking 5-finger discounts. Hope your local PD catches them.
