I don't dislike either of them to be honest. I've never met either of them, and despite their parts in the history, however recent, of gaming I don't see much point in feeling animosity to someone who is to all intents and purposes, the visible part of a faceless company.

I've been buying Dragon since January 1993- #189 to be specific, and it was that first issue that got me into this wonderful hobby to start with. I'm sad to see it all come to an end after 14 years of amazing material, but I have high hopes for the future of Paizo's publications.

Balagos was very cool, I agree on that one. However, my favourite was always Daurgothoth- the Dracolich in the Realms who keeps multiple spare bodies on standby. My players had their behinds handed to them by that scary wyrm several times.

I didn't buy any of the adventures, but I own (and love) all three of the MA books- Sea Devils, I, Tyrant and Illithiad. IMO they're excellent books which add a lot of flavour to the subject creatures.
