    D&D 5E Mythic Odyssey's Mythic Actions

dave2008 just snapped the knob off, was easier. :D

D&D 5E Homebrewed bard and monk archetypes

I need to build the Way of the Spider for an upcoming game. These will nominally be NPC bad guys, so I can do what I want, including Action-Oriented Monster builds, but I'd like to riff off a 'legitimate' build to begin with since there will be the full spectrum of CRs.. I'm thinking some combo...

    D&D 5E Mythic Odyssey's Mythic Actions

If you have three Legendary Actions, you spend two-thirds of that resource performing the bigger trick.

    D&D 5E Homebrew Giant Elites

Yeah, some kind of Ranger template would be cool, do you have one of those already?

    D&D 5E Homebrew Giant Elites

Maybe it requires a representative of each of the tribes to go to the Eye of the All-Father and sacrifice themselves in a ritual which creates a single MasterBlood (or whatever you want to call it). Same stats as the "Emperor", but maybe more thematic? Edit: Death ritual might not be thematic...

    D&D 5E Homebrew Giant Elites

Lightning form is fantastic: clever, thematic, and nasteee!

D&D 5E Swarm of insects (spiders) -- How do you run this monster?

I had a blast with these Swarms in Salvage Operation, I happily moved them in three dimensions (up the walls / stairs / through the cargo grates etc). The PCs hated it. :D

Podcast #80: A License to Game: An Hour with Ryan Dancey (2014)

Is there a follow-up to this video, would love to see where Ryan stands now, five years on. (Five years feels like fifty in the RPG hobby, and that's probably been true ever since D&D first launched).

TSR The Beginning: 1968 and Meeting Gary Gygax and the Gygax Family

I stayed at the Lake Geneva Playboy Hotel last year, aka the Grand Geneva Resort. It's a Marriott Vacation Residence or somesuch these days, but they have a little museum display to the heady times of Kuntzian Debauchery.

I'm just impressed that a 13-year-old boy ever got past Playboy magazine. :D

D&D 5E Tweaking 5E: Your knobs, dials and switches.

Let me see if I follow, the current rules are: 1) short rests allow you to burn HD to restore HP 2) long rests give you all your HP 3) long rests give you half your burned HD back You are removing rule 2, and amending rule 3 to restore all (not half)?

D&D 5E Does Dispel Magic work on Banishment?

Wall of Stone is a concentration spell. Can you bring it down by casting Dispel Magic on the wizard concentrating on it? I'd argue not, and don't see that this is any different.

D&D 5E Mike Mearls interview re: Ghosts of Saltmarsh

Excellent interview, I listened to it on a drive with my wife. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed, the occasional ear-piercing audio screeches means she has now taken out a fatwa on you....

    D&D 5E Best 5e high level adventure?

You could possibly run the second half of OOTA. It's very gonzo though.

Making a combat on the docks "interesting"?

You don't need bad weather, aquatic monsters or anything else. A normal (busy) working dockfront is going to be a crazy place, all sorts of 3D structures and mayhem. Add the above if you want of course, just don't miss what's awesome right in front of you.

Bethesda Comments On Accusations Of Plagiarizing D&D Adventure

Huh, I am 180 from you on this it seems. It's not okay that the vendor's contractor messed up. The vendor hired the contractor, they are responsible. If the company responsible for replacing your roof (vendor) hires a sub-contractor who uses stolen roof tiles, it is the vendor who is...
