I don't think it will be feasible to invalidate 1.0a even it isn't "authorized".
There is a lot of other SRD using the 1.0a as for example, Pathfinder, Traveller, Legend... Wizards simply cannot impose their terms to anybody that doesn't aagree to use v1.1
I have readed of the appendix:
Burroughs, Edgar Rice: “Mars series; Because of the movies and the rpg

In my experience (I'm from Spain) Crits were one of the first house rules most groups created in the AD&D era. These and fumbles, but fumbles were not so popular.
a) Highly unlikely, Bioware developed the Dragon Age IP precisely to avoid to negociate any rights. This is not the market that once was and all the big developers have no need of D&D IP (With the possible exception of Obsidian).
Devir (The spanish Publisher) doesn't translated any of the measure units.

The son of Japanesse animator Miyazaki released in 2006 a better version, "Tales from Earthsea" (Gendo Seki). It's a little slow for most people but is better...
1- I like the cutoff of the required setup time for a session. (I MEAN IT, in 3.5 it's a major pain)
2- I like the dinamics of the encounter. The PC's are more like to move arround the battlefield than 3.5
3- In general i like de action points mechanic, i always like if the player's have a...
