D&D 5E The March D&D Book Will Be Announced Next Tuesday

It looks like it's an adventure anthology (17 mystery adventures): https://www.penguinrandomhouseretail.com/book/?isbn=9780786967223

D&D 5E 'The Thing' Inspired Rime of the Frostmaiden Has Player Secrets [Updated]

A full blown traitor mechanic can remove player agency and cause havoc in a long term campaign - that's why I doubt there will actually be one.

D&D 5E Is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden the New D&D Adventure?

Generally, in Q1 or Q4. Q3 is usually the storyline adventure for that year.

D&D 5E People didn't like the Psionic Talent Die

I think it would work well with a wilder-type class or perhaps an emotionally-driven psychic barbarian subclass?

D&D 5E Is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden the New D&D Adventure?

Unless they're dire or winter wolves, which are Large.

D&D 5E Is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden the New D&D Adventure?

To perhaps reinforce the horror element, that cover art is pretty horrific, and I've seen some online speculation that the owl-creature on the cover is a hill giant vampire named Morg that was created by Paul F. Culotta in Dragon 236 (he could turn into a giant owl). I looked up the article he...

D&D 5E What kind of planar book do you hope for?

I'd imagine any 5e planar book would be an examination of the Inner Planes, Ethereal/Astral Planes, and Outer Planes in the Great Wheel configuration (with nods to demiplanes, the Far Realm, and alternate cosmologies like the World Axis and Mystara's) heavily influenced by the Planescape setting...

D&D 5E Is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden the New D&D Adventure?

But they did a planar AP last year. I didn't think they'd do two in a row (though maybe you end up in the Paraelemental Plane of Ice or Pandemonium in this one).

D&D 5E New Crossover: League of Legends

This isn't a WotC product. It's a collaboration between D&D Beyond & the producers of League of Legends.

    D&D 5E To much 5th edition content?

What are you counting as APs? If you don't count the anthology adventures then there's been one storyline per year since 2017 (2017 Tomb of Annihilation, 2018 were the Waterdeep adventures, and 2019 was Descent into Avernus).

D&D 5E WotC Announces An Impending Announcement: New Setting, Storyline

They're going to have to reprint all the infusions (plus the new ones), so I'm not so sure.

D&D 5E WotC Announces An Impending Announcement: New Setting, Storyline

And that's the right attitude to have IMO. I think if there is an artificer reprint, it will include one of the subclasses from E:RLW - I'm just going to assume the alchemist.

D&D 5E WotC Announces An Impending Announcement: New Setting, Storyline

It doesn't take much prognostication to see that WotC is planning a book with an emphasis on player options similar to XGtE - I would say it's probably the 2020 Q4 release (I also don't think it will include psionics). That said, I wouldn't expect that it wouldn't include as many subclasses as...

D&D 5E Mythic Odysseys of Theros on DNDBeyhond

Given the proliferation of UAs over the past few months, we'll be seeing a Xanathar's type book in the near future. I would venture to say it's likely the 2020 Q4 release.

Unearthed Arcana Impression of the U/A Psi Knight in play

I'm pretty sure that as it's written today, you can only take the Wild Talent feat once.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

While it's been present in pretty much all of them, it's really only intrinsic to Dark Sun.

D&D 5E 5e most conservative edition yet? (In terms of new settings)

That UA (and the accompanying article that adapted parts of d20 Modern to 5e) was from 5 years ago and was written by a contractor who no longer works for WotC.

But there's more to Planescape than Sigil.

The author of those supplements pulled all of them from the DMs Guild.

Critical Role PSA: You are not Matt Mercer

You can still find pre-stream vines on YouTube when they played Pathfinder at home. They're remarkably similar to the show now.
