[Dread] Jenga beat up my dice! My results from the indie horror RPG.

GREAT ending. One question around running these games: After the stack is knocked over, there is a notable decrease in tension, since you re-build it. How do you manage this over the course of the game? If someone dies just before the grand climax, how do you avoid making it seem easy afterwards?

Maybe this is the sort of message that should be reserved for a private message, but I just wanted to share: That recording is AWESOME. Seriously, you did an amazing job (and had a great bunch of players!). Watching it was just a darn good use of two hours (so far - still waiting on part 3.)...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

I vaguely remember that they simply started casting it every day as a "standard practice" once they hit high level, and I assume they still do.

A Rose In The Wind: A Saga of the Halmae -- Updated June 19, 2014

Curse you, curse you all. On Thursday morning, I had a bit of downtime at work. "Ah," I said to myself, "I wonder if Sagiro's updated. What's this? StephenAC archives another story hour?" I was just starting up a new project, and didn't have too much time... but what was the worst that could...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

Wow! Just finished reading the whole thing. This is just a plain awesome story, and I am immensely grateful that you have devoted so many hours to writing it up. A couple of questions, if you don't mine: 1) At one point, Kay committed a significant portion of the Yrimpa race to a single...

Help me defend (or attack) this kingdom (long)

Middle Snu's Plan for the Evil Government 1. Offer Pike the chance to submit with good terms (some autonomy, reduced taxes, etc. Obviously, they will refuse, but this offer should be repeated many times in the campaign. 2. Avoid the fortresses! Taking them would cost us too dearly. 3. Gather...

    Orcs: How Important Are They?

I generally take the position that having Orcs in a campaign is a relatively bad staple of fantasy. If you want to have "brutes," then it's much more interesting (IMHO) to make them humans, instead of the faceless cliche that Orcs have become. On the other hand, if you want an alien, barbaric...

    Cimenatic plot help

If the PC's are at a level where they think they can take a Bullette, then any sensible group will be flying very fast. I think your problem will probably take care of itself.
