D&D 5E Sell me on: Midgard by Kobold Press

seems pretty reasonable to me. :) I mean, if I were guessing.

D&D 5E Sell me on: Midgard by Kobold Press

If I can neither confirm nor deny, then I can not likely get on with anything at this time. shrug

D&D 5E Sell me on: Midgard by Kobold Press

I can neither confirm nor deny but I'm willing to solidly bet the appeal will be non-zero.

D&D 5E Sell me on: Midgard by Kobold Press

They may or may not really dig Wrath of the River King and Courts of the Shadowfey-- both have some social/politicking elements to them, but they're about saving Zobeck from the machinations of faerie lords who want to enforce strange faerie rule over the otherwise fantasy-mundane city and area...

D&D 5E Kobold Press (and are they the new Paizo?)

I own everything from them, but, I'm definitely biased.

    When Fantasy Meets Africa

If you're looking for recently-ish released Africa-adjacent RPG material, there is: Southlands by Kobold Press (Pathfinder) and Between Sand & Sea, and Lands of the Nile, both from Atlas Games' Ars Magica.

    When Fantasy Meets Africa

Kush isn't really sub-Saharan. It's between Ethiopia (or what is usually called "Sheba" in that time period) and Egypt. It's kind of Sahara-parallel.

    When Fantasy Meets Africa

There is Garund, from Paizo. And Southlands, from Kobold Press. I'm close with the authors, I know they put in a lot of research.

    Kobold Press' Warlock Gaming Zine

I'm totally biased, being a regular contributor, but the Midgard setting is pretty awesome. (And I say that as someone who helped write it, but also runs his home games there.)

    Kobold Press' Warlock Gaming Zine

I can tell you that it's probably going to be Midgard-centric more often than not, but it's also based on submissions and what's being pursued by KP at the time. Issues 1 & 4 are pretty heavily Midgard, and 2 & 3 were 60% not-Midgard. I think if you're looking for the material to be all...

    Journey To...East Africa

You're wrong. For the Southlands setting, we developed bits based on the Tuareg, ancient Egyptians, the Axumites, the Garamantians, the Malian Empire, old Zimbabwe, the Alamohads, Maghreb Berbers, the Kushites, Socotrans, Kilwah Sultanate, Swahili Coast, some bronze age Yemeni stuff by way of...

I worked on both of those, too. They helped lay a foundation for Southlands. But yes, I did a lot of research. A partial bibliography is here.
