I'm still reading along, I've just been incredibly busy this week with work and trying to finish up some projects outside before it snows. As I said before, go ahead and start if you're all ready! I may have time this weekend to make up a character. It looks like you guys have one of each role...

I'm having trouble both coming up with a character and finding time to work on one. Looks like a striker might be a welcome addition, though? dimsdale, if I'm taking too long don't wait for me. While I would certainly like to play, I don't want to hold up the rest of you if you're ready.

I would be up for that. :) Don't know if I would be able to DM when you are ready to hand it off, but we'll see I guess.

There's a pretty big difference, IMO. It's a lot more similar to 3.x than to 4e, but there are definitely aspects of 4e mechanics that were mixed in. I think the quick start rules are still available for free on the Wizards website, if you're interested. Gives a decent overview of the system.

Haha, alright then. I was unsure whether special abilities were included in "the beast's statistics". Yep, keeping restrictions in mind. :) I've got wolf, panther (which I'm calling a cougar, since I imagine they would be more appropriate to the area), horse, and cat statted out on my character...

You're the DM! No abilities then, sounds fine to me. :)

I think I've got Aenwyr mostly done. He's got Wild Shape now, so I'm putting a couple stat blocks for different forms he's likely to use. Now a question about Wild Shape - do you gain the abilities of the animal as well? For example, keen senses, Pounce from a panther, or Pack Tactics from a...

Yeah, I don't mind. :) I haven't leveled up Aenwyr yet, but I should be able to by early this next week.

@MetaVoid, Vermitrax first gets a save with +2 bonus on Raiyek's turn. Since we're NPCing him this turn: Channel Divinity save vs ongoing: 1D20+2 = [18]+2 = 20. No ongoing damage for him then. :) That would then put Vermitrax at 41/58.

Keep in mind that Raiyek just let Vermitrax spend a surge as well. Though if Mr. DM is willing I could have moved 1 square further and sent that healing to Lerrick instead..

Oops, you're right. Raiyek didn't have a chance to refresh the mark last turn. It's active again this turn though. ;)
