I guess the idea of emotionally investing in a profit-making company, its marketing and the employees trying to sell product, to the point of angrily defending and even imagining insults where none exist, is alien to me. Makes no sense.

Isn't this sort of a provocative question to anchor an entire thread? I mean, there's really no good reason to ask, "Why Are Certain People Upset?" They're upset because they're upset. And they've probably explained why in the original thread already. So I don't understand why you would ask...

I'm confused. Wasn't the entire point of the elf-eladrin division that one race was more natural (woods-loving, whatever) and the other was more magical? That's a ranger and a wizard build, right? So why announce that their going to make such good clerics now? That kind of muddies the waters...

i picked "elementals" but it's not entirely accurate. The races we played in one campaign were pseudo-elementals -- dwarf and gnomes for the earth, elves and half-elves for the air, etc.

I found the same thing. Basically, Binders are a lot of work. Not an easy class to keep track of.
