I'll back your right not to like it, but... "realistic"? It's a floating gathering point in the Astral Sea... of course it's not realistic! "High Fantasy is not for me!" will do nicely. I can't find fault in that.

It seems to me that whenever they Remaster an old Adventure, they ought to at least look at any sequels or supplements, to see if they can fit in any tidbits. It seems like a no-brainer to me, even when the material isn't perfect.

Ah! That actually makes more sense, in fact. I suspect that our disconnect is there - I was only ever speaking of remixing old adventures in general - someone else suggested that particular one - and you were expressing your distaste for "updating" that one.

Ideally, they do both (and in this case, they do!): They update some classics, and they write some new stuff. It's one of the few ways we get to experience the best of both worlds.
