Paizo New Roundup With Extra Ultimate Wilderness

Honestly, it makes no sense that he is worse than the Druid. He should already be better than Druid at changing shape since he can't shift at will (and lacks spells). If he had unlimited shifting, I could see why he would be less good (it would be a trade of use vs power). I guess it makes a...

    Starfinder I just played Starfinder

Technically, EAC is Touch AC in most cases. Although some armor add a little bit too. All armors add more KAC (physical AC) than EAC. Thought that was a wasted opportunity to not have a high EAC and low KAC armor (situationally good armor idea).

Colin McComb issues apology for the Complete Book of Elves

Yes, this is what I expected for millions of dollars at a kickstarter. You are joking because Veronica Mars is awesome. That we succeded in making it funded is even better. Do you have link/evidence that people were offended that they succeeded? I think it was genius. Fans show they want...

How do you progress spellcasting monsters?

Add levels a of Druid or Druid Prc, spellcasting stacks (natural + class) in most cases.

What if other adaptations got the "hobbit" treatment?

That was because in the book, they never mention bringing any weapons, but the gave paragraphs on their musical instruments. Maybe it should have done as a musical?

I played a crappy character...and it was great!

Techically all casters are DAD or SAD, Clerics like Cha but need wis everything else is gravy. So you weren't crappy with 17 Wisdom at 1st. Had you played a Monk then you'd be crappy (5 Str indeed).

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Launches Today!

The new adventure called the Black Pit is there as well. You take 6 characters (pregens or you make them) through 13 levels of a arena style combat. You get money/exp after each battle to buy gear: note the Iron shortage from BG 1 is still active (as you haven't finished them Nesknell, however...

Is Time Travel (going backwards) Possible?

But Nazi sympasizers would also go back in time to prevent that. They would be the time roaches ofdthe universe. Who says Neo-Nazi's wouldn't be the one to create the machine? Hitletr did many great things without him, we would have less tecnologfy related to medicine. In fact, if you are...

D&D 5E Why the HP Threshold on Spells is a Bad Idea

You don't need conmversion just do nonlethal damage: So 2d8 nonlethal to all targets in area, Will save for 1/2? Obviously then it will make them asleep (nonlethal above current hp does that). This works well. If not injured, they might be tired (nonlethal damage), but not asleep (nonlethal...

Pathfinder 1E How does the magus perform at high levels?

Yes, definately, if enemies are unconscious not dead you can Coup de Grace them all after battle for all your arcane pool points back.

Pathfinder 1E Cunning & Panache: A Revised Rogue

I must say I love it. If I didn't already set limits to sources for my recent adventures DMing I'd allow this.

Pathfinder 1E New Class: Dragon Warrior

So d10 HD (not D12?), 3/4th BAB, right off the bat seems unpathfinder-ized, as they standardized HD/BAB. Why the multiclass restriction? Seems simpler to just take Dragonfire Adept in 3.5 from Dragon Magic book. Only at 14th level is there a distinction: Form of the Dragon (Form of the...

    People don't optimize

But this is because A. not all of us have good enough endurance to be a navy seal. I got one don't sweat. I overheat instead (I usually grab a water bottle and pour a little on skin to fake sweat and it does cool me down). b. Brain surgeons require money. If you aren't rich enough, you can't...

    D&D 5E You can't necessarily go back

Actually, everything he mentioned was changed by PF. I'd use a 3.5 Monk over a PF monk : a. I can TWF or not my choice. PF Monk can't (designers said Flurry is TWF, 1/2 attacks have to unarmed. You can only flurry non-TWF with unarmed strikes) b. Can use Improved Natural Attack (another nerf...

Pathfinder 1E Would you allow a plant in a pot to be used for Entangle?

2E allowed it. It made sense. 3.X made sure to say can't.

That's no Sorcerer, that's a Paladin (of Bahamut) kinda.. sorta

Why wouldn't dragon heritage do that? a. Dragons innately cast spells. They have in almost every edition (maybe not 4E when they just had spell-like abilities). They didn't have a spellbook in 2E so they were Sorcerers not wizard. b. Why wouldn't you train in armor if you want to emulate your...

Pathfinder 1E Would you allow a plant in a pot to be used for Entangle?

I'd let it work, but with a bonus to saves (likely +2) because one plant can't handle 40 ft as well as muliple.

    Adventure Scale

Actually, it may have been a reference to 1E when you avoided monsters as they gave too little XP for the trouble and took the loot. Taking 20 means 20 turns meaning 2 minutes, that means a lot if there are monsters coming. But if there is no monsters then yeah, take 20 like 3E.
