I ran a game a few years ago were i had d&d races in a 1930's air race across the continental usa. I swapped magic with tech, so elves ended up being the great mechanics.

Just upped my pledge. This is going to be a great kickstarter and i can see the old isle being the default setting for playing DCC or any other fantasy rpg.

Just ran the module last night with my group. The ogre was a cake walk. The owlbear on the other hand killed the mage in one round. And the stirges later on raped the party hard. I know see were having the small rest is important.

I do accents all the time. Mainly for NPC's when im DMing My 4'10 elf wizard with the Arnold Schwarzenegger accent was hilarious.

I dont know how Monte did it but im sure he has taken a peak at my notes.. I agree with him whole heartedly even the bits on pre-gens.

I would go with water manipulation. The ability to manipulate the life blood of the planet and every living organism on it.

Its not as hard as you would think. Done this heaps of times with different gaming systems. Longest we did was close to 10 years multi DMing d6 Star Wars. With the group i am in its kind of standard now to have multiple DM's.

I would have to say that i am a killer DM but when you got "poof your healed magic" you should have "failed your save dead" The only issue with character death is in the lower levels as raise dead spells are expensive from churches. But that can lead to another adventure in itself.

I always liked the 10x10 metal room were the party gets lightning bolted.
