D&D General Luke Gygax Brings Back Gary Gygax's Castle Zagyg

I was lucky enough to buy the Ygssburgh book in 2009. I consider it possibly the best thing EGG ever wrote. It's fantastic.

D&D 5E D&D's Classic Settings Are Not 'One Shots'

They have been 1-shots for the duration of 5e thus far. Eberron, Spelljammer, Dragonlance, Strixhaven, Theros ... all are one-shots. Even Ravenloft only had two books.

Black Flag So What's In Kobold Press' BLACK FLAG First Playtest?

I realize I'm getting ahead of where the playtest document is right now, but I would like to see 5e's skill system made more customizable. I know we're stuck with the +2 to +6 proficiency range, but I would like to see something like "specializations", where you get a bonus for certain aspects...

Now that Free League holds the middle earth license and has released the 2nd edition of The One Ring, does anyone know if they are planning to continue Adventures in Middle Earth (the 5e RPG set in Middle Earth)? At one point Cubicle 7 said that AiME outsold TOR by 10:1, so I would think it...

D&D 5E Anyone using spell points from the DMG?

I'm curious as to how well they worked for you, especially at higher levels. BONUS: what do you think of – instead of spell slots or spell points – using a spellcasting roll to see if a spell works or not?

OSR What are your thoughts on the success probabilities of pre-3e versions of D&D?

With regard to the success probabilities of attacks, thief skills, the damage outputs of various classes at various levels, NWPs in 2e, and anything else you wish to discuss (spell progressions, XP requirements for levelling up), do you find that pre-3e versions of D&D have a good balance...
