Well I have the table all setup for a Special D&D game we are running tonight for someones Birthday. Its seems the Person of honor has never fought a dragon in D&D.. so i created a encounter within a volcano( and a temple).. that should really challenge the party.

I love when lots of fine detail pieces just make a great game setup.. I've been printing up bunches of scatter terrain, D&D idols, barrels,chests and other little bits to add to my dwarven forge terrain to really add more depth to the gaming terrain setups. I think all together there are about...

they are a great way to add that extra touch to terrain.. I have got tons of use from the various pipes and sci fi floor pieces over the years.

If you are looking for some City/Town terrain ( that is cost effective) that you can easily use with younger players and not worry about it getting broken.. Or if you want something that is easy to transport.. I may have found what you need folks.. Did i also mention that it is modular ?

my wife calls it nerd famous.. we once traveled for a gaming convention and when we got there the room was under " dungeonmastermark" lady at the front guest gave me the oddest look .. i had to explain it wasnt some type of BDSM thing, but D&D gaming... my wife was horrified ..

in my games i normally do make them different colors.. i also allow for knowledge checks for a spellcaster to recognize the eye/ spell= after seeing its ray

yeah its a horrible thing for any parent to go thru.. sadly the media blew things out of proportion ( as usual )

who remember this horrific event in D&D history ? I know it caused me a great deal of grief at school and church as a youngling..

yeah the board game was not great , however it was a quick way to transition new players into D&D... and the minis that came with it weren't too bad...
