Has anyone tried to update the Modern D20 rules to 5th Edition? Think it would be interesting to run a low magic espionage game...

I borrowed a 5E PH, I am making a new character, and I am looking at the skills. Okay, proficiency bonus goes up automatically, but what if you want to specialise in a skill beyond that? And how do you acquire more skills as you advance? I am not seeing that option in the level advancement... :-P

Has any tried making size beyond colossal? Can the upward increases be charted?

I am looking for a prestige class and feats that would be good for a secret police force and spies to maintain order in a dictatorship. Kind of a medieval gestapo. Any suggestions?
