Erik Mona said the plan is to offer a pocket edition of every hardcover and keep them in print as long as people are still buying them.

Marathon, Broadway, and Catacomb: Upcoming D&D Products?

I think you are on to something. Development time on something like Yawning is less and D&D always has a nostalgic thread. So it would be leaving money on the table not to do another book like that at some point.

Marathon, Broadway, and Catacomb: Upcoming D&D Products?

During their panel at Gamehole Con, both Mike Mearls and Chris Lindsay hinted at an adventure that worked independantly but also might span two books. They referenced Hoard and Tiamat as a template. High page counts though, so a pretty robust adventure. You might be on to something with Modron...

Marathon, Broadway, and Catacomb: Upcoming D&D Products?

I like where your head is on a sea adventure. I was thinking Moonshae Isles though. Undermountain hadn't occurred to me as I didn't recall many breadcrumbs for it in previous products. Regardless, I like your thinking!

Marathon, Broadway, and Catacomb: Upcoming D&D Products?

I made my best guesses last week: https://nerdsonearth.com/2017/11/evidence-future-dnd-books-storylines/ I was merely speculating based upon my research (and my gut), so please don't jump on me. Just feel free to let us know your guesses! Regardless, I'm super excited for whatever they...

What Are These Four Unnamed D&D Products?

I'm thinking the $24.95 product will be a magnetic initiative tracker board. I think one will be a map pack and it's possible the lowest price point could be cards of some type. But those are just guesses of course. I'll also look for more items on Amazon. I'll amend the original article if I...

UA to Become Weekly! Pendleton Ward Helped On New AP!

I cant disagree with you there. In fact, you and I are thinking along the same lines, in that there is a feeling that the next book will take a more creative approach than simply "Player's Handbook 2." I'm excited, as I like this new approach to books.

UA to Become Weekly! Pendleton Ward Helped On New AP!

If UA is going weekly, something is afoot. This is nice news. Wild speculation: they are preparing content for a 2017 release of "Volo's Guide to Heroes", which will be new class options and character lore.

Froghemoths & Flail Snails - Oh My! Chris Perkins' New Adventure Sneak Peek

There is too much financial incentive from WOTC's video game properties for it to be set anywhere but the Realms. I think you are exactly right that there will be a couple pages in the back with notes or running it in other settings. WOTC is a company of patterns and that pattern seems set.

    Princes of the Apocalypse

5 out of 5 rating for Princes of the Apocalypse For those who have lived under a stone golem for the last 30 years, Gary Gygax first took us to the Temple of Elemental Evil in 1985. Although Temple of Elemental Evil is undoubtedly a classic, when you pause to consider the original’s sprawling...

    The Official Elemental Evil Announcement

Worries me a bit that the official press release mentioned 1st an expansion to their MMO, other products like minis and games, then, oh yeah, their pencil and paper product last. I get the business sense behind it, but man, just wish their adventure would've led like it was their bread and butter.
